Leah Lynn

Our new little angel, Leah Lynn, arrived on Friday, June 4 at 9:57 pm. 7 lbs. 5 oz. 20 1/4 in. She didn't come without a little bit of a struggle and a scare. I was in labor for nearly 24 hours and labored mostly at home except the last 5 hours where I felt it was time to make my way to the hospital. I delivered naturally like I did with Grace, (sigh). I could not have done it without help from Jason, my mom and momma (J's mom). They got me through it!

Leah is now almost 4 weeks old and I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. We are adjusting to having two little ones and now remember what it was like to get up 3-4 times throughout the night! Needless to say, our eyelids are quite heavy during this time of wishing for more sleep. The great part is, we know that it is only temporary!

Grace is adjusting to being a big sister. She has been exceptionally good and has not shown signs of major jealousy. She is starting to help out buy throwing away diapers and wanting to help bathe Leah during bath time. G is so cute with Leah. She wakes up in the morning and asks for "baby?".

The second time around is so different. Breastfeeding is a breeze, and I have so much milk Leah doesn't know what to do with all of it! Yeah!! Most of you know I struggled with this the entire time I breastfed Grace. We are just a little more relaxed with everything. Today, I made my way to Trader Joe's with both girls by myself. I had Leah in the Ergo (best baby carrier ever) and G in the cart. I don't think I did that with Grace until she was well over 2 months old ;)

I will post more when I have time, or maybe just some pictures.

More updates and pictures are on their way!
