Her own guard dog, Murphy. She loves him.

Random pictures

Most of these pictures should have gone in the previous post, but I wasn't that organized. Which is something I need to work on...

Enjoy!

What is Grace doing at 8 months old?

Everyday I feel that Grace is doing something new. She is developing a little personality that just makes you smile. So, what is she up to?
- She now has 7 teeth (getting harder to breastfeed with those chompers)
- Loves, loves, loves BOOKS. Her favorite at the moment is Ten In the Bed
- Almost ready to crawl, but not quite yet
- Is napping during the day for 1 1/2 to sometimes over 2 hours. Such a blessing compared to the 40 min. naps she used to take.
- She's learning sign language. A friend forwarded me a website MySmartHands.com it is such a great site. We're trying to put a sign to almost everything.
- We had to lower her crib, because she was peeking over the sides and wanted to pull herself up!
- She says Momma, Dadda, Ba and Nana (Which is J's mom, she goes by Nanny)
Cute pic with Daddy!

New outfit

Our dear friend, Jacqueline, gave Grace her first vintage outfit...is it not the most adorable thing ever? I love dressing her up! Thank you Jacqueline.

A day at the beach!

Fun in the sun with Grace. Today we decided to head down to Huntington Beach for a little while. Grace is a little unsure of the sand, but every time we go she gets a little more used to it. Today I had her sitting in the sand and she was HAPPY!

7 months of pure Grace

So our little girl is turning 7 months old tomorrow, and I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. She brings us so much joy.
What is Grace doing?:
She has three teeth, wants to crawl (not quite there yet), so curious about what is going on around her, talks up a storm, loves to be outside, loves the pool, and is so happy. The highlight is that she now says Momma and Dadda!
Here is a spattering of pictures...

She's a morning person just like her mom & dad, although we wish she wasn't up so early!!
Funny look...
Playing in her laundry basket
Gotta love the "side eyes"
Again with the side eyes!
Grace and I were having lunch at Mother's Market and she was letting me know how much she liked her new head band...by yelling!
Our little water baby. She LOVES the pool.
Yes...she is wearing sunscreen
The three of us spent two days down in San Diego a few weekends ago. We stayed in the Gaslamp. Grace is so easy to travel with. We had tons of fun. The second day we went to Coronado because I had never been. It was so beautiful. I want to go again.
Poolside at the Hotel del Coronado. We snuck into the pool area because I needed a shady spot to feed Grace.
She has her game face on. Go Bolts! Daddy is so proud.

This was at the end of the day. We were at my brother-in-laws surprise birthday party. She was about to fall asleep in Nanny's arms.
Family picture
Playing ball with her cousin Violet. They are so cute together.
Loves being with Daddy.
We went to the Santa Ana Zoo for the first time and she lasted a little while. I think she just loved being outside. J and I had fun seeing all of the monkeys.

Fast asleepy after about 45 minutes.
She loves bathtime with Daddy.
With friends Maycie(left)and Makena Brown(right). We were at our friend, Daniel's, birthday party. Makena adores Grace. After Grace was born she would say her prayers before going to bed and would tell her mom, Nicole, "don't forget baby Gracie..." So cute.
My best buddy, Nicole and her newest little girl Mandy. They are about 4 months apart and will be best of buds.
